The view from my window

view from my windwo

We have a mountain in the muskeg. It is blocking our goals not to mention our view. Little Bit can’t stand it; how can she keep track of the squirrel with all that white stuff in the way, Tank just stands there mesmerized, watching the snow roll down the inside of the drift.

Even as I’m getting this post ready, I swear the drift was grown another foot and a half

Some where behind that drift is the crab apple tree (taken another Fort Nelson spring). . . . it is barely visible in the snow.

Little Bit paws at the window, “I can’t see”, paw, paw, “Fix it!” “Fix it!”

I know where I’m going!

Northern Bean

(photo by Vivian Bales at Northern Needles.)

There is coffee on the road ahead! A new favourite coffee has been discovered at Bean North Coffee and holidays are about to whisk us away. Northern Comfort is a marvellous blend of Medium and Dark roast coffee. The aroma is enough to have even me up in the morning to greet the day. Best of all, they are 100% fair Trade & Organic. I can’t wait until I can sample more of this Yukon Roasters beans.
If you see me on the road I’ll be the one with the the burgandy coffee mug in my hot little fist.

Beginning anew

As usually life (and blog spam) got the best of me for most of 2006. I have updated to the newest version of Word Press with more robust spam control (fingers crossed). But I bet you guessed something has changed seeing this strangely not brown Blog!

So here is to a new beginning and may I have better luck in finding out just who I am.
