I purchased this kit shortly after we lost our beloved Jake to bone cancer in his jaw. It happened so suddenly we had a hard time dealing with it. He was so full of life (and Himself) it just didn’t seem a part of reality. Slowly stitching this sampler became an important part of the grieving process for me.

Steve just framed it and with great joy we hung it on the stairway wall, where we will often walk by it.

  1. Suze what a great tribute to Jake. Even after time has passed I know he’s very much a part of your lives still. Hugs to you for stitching a tribute to him.
