We had just entered the kitchen for a late-night snack, Tank lumbering along with us. Holly greeted him with a snarl and exposed teeth; he exited quickly! Since Holly is always to be found sleeping close by our location (the computers, of course!) finding her in advance of our rumbling tummies was a surprise to say the least.
Only by observing her surreptitious glances at the thawing Thanksgiving Turkey were we enlightened!
We couldn’t get Tanker back into the kitchen to demonstrate Holly’s excellent protective instincts for the camera . . .
Happy Thanksgiving. Hope that turkey makes it into your tummies before the dogs eat it first lol.

Not sure if this comment thing is working or not, so you might see two messages here. Happy Thanksgiving, hope the turkey makes it into your tummies and not the dogs first. Last year our friends dog ate their thawing turkey, bones and all.\

Yay for Holly, defender of the soon to be eaten…lol.
Have a great dinner, we had ours on sunday and started our breakfast today with cranberry/pecan tart. Yummm…breakfast of champions.
Had a great walk today. I bet the dogs enjoyed enjoyed the cooked turkey. I was looking at all your lovely cross stitching. Your stitching stand is very unusal. I sit my my recliner with my lap stand that I managed it make. It is a little rough looking but works great. Love the picture of you and Viv and also the miles apart one
